Using a lid can help water boil faster, saving you both time and energy. A lid is also essential for slow cooking on the stove or in the oven; without it, the juices can evaporate too quickly, causing the ingredients to dry out. A glass lid allows you to monitor your cooking without needing to remove the lid.

Classic glass lids are oven-safe up to 250°C and are suitable for both pans and pots of the same diameter.

Covered by the warranty
• The SCANPAN local warranty covers manufacturing faults & material defects such as peeling, pitting, or bubbling on the surface of your non-stick cookware.

Excluded from the warranty
• Normal wear & tear including scratches, stains, discoloration, corrosion, or damage from overheating to the interior of the pan.
• Carbon (food/oil residue) build up is the accumulation of leftover oil and food residue which is not thoroughly removed during washing/cleaning, usually due to insufficient/incorrect cleaning methods.
