Unlike many cookware brands, every SCANPAN non-stick cookware is made at our factory in Ryomgaard, Denmark, where generations of experienced craftsmen oversee every stage of production to ensure exceptional quality and consistency.

One of the reasons SCANPAN cookware performs so well is our unique squeeze casting process.

Each pan begins as recycled aluminium, which is melted and poured into a mould before being formed under 250 tonnes of pressure. This manufacturing technique produces an exceptionally dense and durable body with a perfectly flat base, helping to eliminate hot spots while ensuring fast, even heat distribution.

The result is cookware that heats efficiently, retains heat effectively and delivers consistent cooking performance for years to come.

For induction-compatible cookware, an 18/0 stainless steel plate is permanently cast into the base during production, creating a seamless bond that ensures excellent heat transfer without the risk of air gaps or water penetration.
