• Avoid Excessive High Heat: Use moderate to medium heat when cooking. Preheat your SCANPAN cookware for about 5 minutes to ensure even heat distribution and excellent heat retention.
• No Aerosol Sprays: Do not use aerosol cooking sprays, as the propellants can damage the non-stick surface. Instead, opt for oil, butter, or fat for optimal results.
• Routine Cleaning: For daily cleaning, use detergent and hot water to loosen oil and food residue. Scrub thoroughly with the green side of a sponge or a dishwashing brush.
• Avoid Sharp Utensils: While metal utensils are safe to use, avoid sharp tools such as forks, knives, or pointed turners to help maintain the non-stick surface.

Covered by the warranty
• The SCANPAN local warranty covers manufacturing faults & material defects such as peeling, pitting, or bubbling on the surface of your non-stick cookware.
Excluded from the warranty
• Normal wear & tear including scratches, stains, discoloration, corrosion, or damage from overheating to the interior of the pan.
• Carbon (food/oil residue) build up is the accumulation of leftover oil and food residue which is not thoroughly removed during washing/cleaning, usually due to insufficient/incorrect cleaning methods.
