• Sharpen your knives regularly, about 2 to 4 times a month if you use them frequently.
• Always hand wash your knives with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry them immediately to prevent rust.
• Avoid using dishwashers, as they can dull the blades.
• Make sure to use the appropriate knife for each task.
• Store knives safely in a knife block or on a magnetic strip.
• When scraping chopped ingredients, use the back of the knife to protect the blade.

Warranty Period
SCANPAN knives are backed by a 5-year local warranty against manufacturing faults and material defects under normal household use.

What is covered?
The warranty covers manufacturing faults and material defects, including:

• Peeling of the non-stick coating
• Pitting of the cooking surface
• Bubbling of the non-stick coating

What is not covered?
The warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear, including scratches, stains, discolouration and corrosion
• Damage caused by overheating, misuse, abuse or accidental damage
• Carbon build-up (food or oil residue) resulting from insufficient or improper cleaning
• Damage caused by failure to follow the recommended Use & Care instructions
