Maitre D' Mortar with Pestle in American Oak & Cast Iron

Any kitchen enthusiast should have a mortar and pestle in the kitchen. Use it for crushing fresh and dried herbs and making marinades. Crushed herbs release much more flavour than ordinary, dried herbs. The base is made from elegant oil treated oak wood. The top and pestle are made from oil burned cast iron. Clean in hot water and detergent (do not put in the dishwasher). Dry thoroughly and apply mineral oil. Inside diameter: 10 cm.
